Axis Leaf Ltd buys ferrous and non-ferrous metals from UK yards and aggregators for export. Auto scrap our speciality, but we trade across grades. A reliable recurring buyer with flexible payment terms and freight arranged to suit you.
One sealed twenty foot box is our unit of trade. Graded, weighed, photographed, documented, and stowed to ISO standard. Every shipment, the same disciplined load.
We are not a generalist scrap trader. We work to a defined operating model with a short list of trusted UK aggregators and overseas processing partners. Same paperwork, same standards, same cadence, every cycle.
Axis Leaf Ltd was incorporated in 2021. We buy ferrous and non-ferrous scrap metal from UK aggregators and yards, then export it to processing partners overseas. Auto scrap is our deepest area, but we trade across grades. We finance the cargo, control the documentation, hold the insurance, and handle the logistics end to end.
We buy in container lots, mixed across graded auto scrap categories. Procurement is concentrated with a deliberately small group of trusted UK suppliers. We can collect from your yard and arrange freight ourselves, or buy on shipped terms if that suits you better.
The operation is built to be repeatable, not flashy. Each shipment follows the same documentation standard, the same insurance schedule, and payment milestones agreed up front with the supplier. The business runs on disciplined paperwork and clean banking, not on relationships built over a handshake.
What we offer prospective UK suppliers:
Every shipment moves through the same four operational stages. Each stage has its own document set, banking milestone, and verification step. The model is built for repeatability, which is what lets the operation scale without losing control.
Our deepest expertise sits in graded auto scrap, where the value is in the metallurgy. But we buy across ferrous and non-ferrous grades. If you have volume and it is sorted, it is worth a conversation.
Removed LPG and CNG vehicle conversion kits including vaporisers, multivalves, cylinder offcuts, and reducers. Aggregated from end of life vehicle processing.
Automotive starter motors and alternators removed during dismantle. Aluminium housing, copper windings, steel rotors. Combustion engine sources only.
Brass internals from gearbox and transmission assemblies. Copper zinc alloy, refining category, not melt category. Suppliers who segregate gearbox brass at point of dismantle are the priority partners.
Engine motors and starter motors from end of life vehicles. Combustion engine origin only. We do not buy electric motors or hybrid traction motors.
Heavy melting steel, plate and structural, turnings, cast iron, and other graded ferrous arisings. Sorted yard volume in container lots, baled or loose. Talk to us about what you carry.
Copper grades, brass, aluminium, lead, zinc, and mixed non-ferrous. Higher value per tonne, so segregation matters. If you sort it, we are a strong home for it on recurring terms.
Every shipment follows the same five stage process. Each stage has a document, a milestone, and a checkpoint. The documentation pack is consistent across every container, which is what lets the operation scale without losing control.
Buyer and supplier agree grades, weights, prices, payment milestones. Sales contract issued under English law jurisdiction.
Payment made to the structure agreed with the supplier, full advance, staged, or against documents. UK regulated banking, full SWIFT trail, AML compliant, no cash.
Container loaded, sealed, photographed at all stages. Bill of lading, certificate of origin, packing list, insurance schedule issued and verified.
Balance payment cleared before arrival. Marine cover active from loading through to receipt at destination.
Cleared at port, inland transit to processing partner, final delivery confirmed. Audit trail closed and archived per shipment.
We operate inside a defined regulatory framework, both UK side and destination side. Suppliers and partners get full audit trail on every shipment.
Compliant with UK SMDA 2013 cashless trade requirements. All payments via traceable bank transfer, seller ID verification on file for every supplier.
Procurement focused on output from licensed Authorised Treatment Facilities. We work with suppliers who depollute and dismantle to the recovery standards set out in the End of Life Vehicles Directive.
Shipments structured as non-hazardous waste under the Basel Convention. Cross border movements compliant with the UK Transfrontier Shipment of Waste regime.
Supplies treated as zero rated indirect exports under HMRC Notice 703. Evidence of export, including bill of lading and shipping documents, returned to supplier within 30 days.
Open marine policy held with a leading UK insurer, brokered through an FCA regulated firm. Cargo covered from loading through to receipt at destination. Policy schedule available to suppliers on request.
Full destination country import compliance including pre-shipment inspection, customs documentation, and licensed clearing agent. Audit trail maintained for every shipment.
We work with a deliberately small group of UK aggregators and overseas processors. Long term relationships, repeatable terms, no surprises. We do not name partners on the public site out of respect for commercial confidentiality.
We source from UK based scrap metal yards and aggregators with graded, sorted auto scrap. You do not need export experience or container capability. We can collect, handle the freight, and manage all the export paperwork. Long term recurring offtake, paid to agreed terms, full audit trail every cycle.
Our processing partners hold the segregation and refining capability to convert imported grades into saleable end product. Licensed for import, supported by an established downstream buyer network in the destination market.
If you supply graded auto scrap from a UK yard and you want a recurring buyer with consistent terms, get in touch. The fastest route is an email to the address opposite. We respond inside 24 hours during the working week.
For brand new suppliers, expect a short due diligence exchange before first container. We will share company documentation, banking references, registered office details, and a recent sales contract template on request.
